Warranty policy and coverage

Here at Alvinno we are committed to providing high quality products and user experiences. Although higher quality products have lower failure rates, sometimes our products do have failures, this is how the world turns. In the unlikely case of an Alvinno product failure we will do our best to solve your problem in a timely manner in accordance with local consumer regulations and procedures.

As a consumer, you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights when shopping at Alvinno. This means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. In addition to the statutory warranty, we may offer an additional warranty that does not affect or limit the statutory warranty. Below you can find important information about our warranty policy and coverage. The stated warranty policy and coverage are inclusive of any statutory warranty rights.

All of our water purifiers have varying warranty periods with a minimum of 2-years. The exact warranty period for each product can be found on the specific page of that product. This means that your water purifier is expected to function for at least two years without faults or defects when used under normal conditions. This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
  • Filters, unless the failure has occurred because of defect in materials or workmanship. As with all consumables, filters lose their effectiveness with time and use. The effective lifetime of each filter under normal usage can be found on the product page.
  • Damage caused by improper system maintenance. While our water purifier systems are designed to be maintenance free, they do require timely filter changes at a minimum to remain healthy and efficient. The required maintenance can be found on the product page or the support section.
  • Damage caused by unsuitable use or not meeting the technical requirements of the product. The technical requirements can be found on the product page.
  • Damage caused by incorrect or unauthorized installation.

Filter replacement cartridgesread more...

All filter replacement cartridges have a warranty of 12-months. This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product. Like all consumables, filter cartridges lose their effectiveness with time and use.
  • Damage caused by unsuitable use or not meeting the technical requirements of the product. The technical requirements can be found on the product page.
  • Damage caused by incorrect or unauthorized installation.


Resolving warranty claims

We will resolve any valid warranty claim free of charge by either carry-in or on-site procedure:

  • Carry-in procedure: You are requested to ship or bring the product to us. Once the device is received we will proceed with either repairing or replacing the device.
  • On-site procedure: We will perform the required repair and/or replacement at your location.

Which procedure applies depends on the specific claim and will be determined beforehand.
